Chippewa in the Ring with Olympic Hopefuls

NBC-UniversalThe 2014 U.S. World Team Trials in men’s and women’s freestyle wrestling were held at the Alliant Energy Center’s Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Madison, Wisconsin on May 30 – June 1. Token Creek was hired by Carr-Hughes Productions and our Chippewa HD Mobile unit was utilized in the production of the HD broadcast for NBC Universal. Token Creek’s Brendan Clark performed as the production’s Technical Director and Dan Albert as Senior Audio. The Trials featured many past Olympic and World medalists. Three of the athletes who won wrestling medals at the 2012 Olympics in London, England were in the field, including Olympic champions.

The U.S. World Team Trials determine men’s and women’s freestyle athletes who compete at the 2014 World Wrestling Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, as well as the U.S. national teams for the 2014-15 campaign in men’s freestyle and women’s freestyle wrestling.
