NFL Season Kicks Off at Packers Family Night

GREEN BAY – The Packers Family Night scrimmage is the official start of the NFL football season and Token Creek was on hand for the statewide broadcast on Friday, August 3 at Lambeau Field.

The evening’s activities had a high flying start. All eyes were on the sky, as a parachute team jumped out of a plane, directly over the bowl. One by one, the seven members of the Golden Knights landed safely on the field. And the crowd loved it.

The main event was football, and a chance to see this year’s team under the lights of Lambeau. A touchdown pass to Greg Jennings was one of the big plays. Plenty of players were able to practice their Lambeau leaps.

Varsity, Token Creek’s 53ft HD Expando production truck handled the production of the 3-1/2 hour event, airing on various stations throughout Wisconsin.

A fireworks display capped the evening off.  The booms and bursts were timed to music, and left everyone excited for the new Packers season.
